Hi All, getting ready to replace the check valve in my water pump. I have never removed a water pump before. I need some advice so as to not dump water/flood the compartment.Can anybody shed some ligh...

Should be no torrents if you’re level (fresh tank not uphill) and open a couple faucets to relieve any pressure in the lines. If you’re hooked up to water I’d also turn it off and release the pressure just in case...depends on how things are plumbed, but better to release all pressure. Agree with comment above to have a couple towels ready. Replaced our pump a while back and just a little residual spill.
