Weber Low Pressure Conversion Fitting & Hose
I posted this info in response to a members question about the Weber conversion to the low pressure quick connect that is so common on trailers today. I think I kind of highjacked that thread unintentionally so I'm reposting the info here for those that might find it useful. I did not include the ball valve for shut off on the trailer as most have that already. Calore now makes a new fitting that is 1 piece that eliminates the need to use 2 fittings.
Here's what you need:
Weber Fitting
Hose
(Choose your length of hose)
Calore now makes a special 1 pc fitting for the Weber that goes from 1/8" NPT to the quick connect setup without the need for 2 fittings. Special thanks to member jrichard on this forum for doing all the research and posting the part numbers. Ordered mine about a week ago.
jrichard's info
Edit: One thing I overlooked: If you not going to put a ball valve on the Weber after removing the regulator, you need a 1/8" to 1/8" coupler (both NPT) available at Lowes under Watts part number LFA-706 for about 3 bucks. The reason is the Weber's regulator has female threads so you're left with male threads on the bbq when you take the regulator off. Just hooked mine up and it works fine. Turns out you do need 2 fittings after all if not using a ball valve. Hope this helps someone down the road.
