Weird Electrical Issue in PUP

I have a 1999 Coleman Westlake PUP. I'm having some wierd electrical issue that I need help with.

The PUP works perfectly when hooked up to battery power, but when I plug it into the house or run it off my generator, my interior lights or water pump wont work. The 110 outlets all work though.

I have checked the 5 fuses on the inverter and have even swapped them out and that doesn't work. I've popped the breakers on and off too. Still no lights/pump.

Thanks in advance for your expertise.

Tim

  • Some of these older PUP's had a converter/distribution panel that were wired to either charge or to use battery. The ones I've seen had a manual switch but yours might have an automatic switch.

Post up the brand and model of distribution panel and maybe others can nail it for you.
