  • Notice "Has a twisted ac plug lug for conventional ac outlets."- Took the original 20 amp plug and twisted the hot leg to parallel with the neutral.
On edit, it is the neutral that is flipped on the 125/20
  • At least it isn't a 200 dollar Doomblocker or something with a decal of M. Mouse on a mountain top.

It's an improved 65 ampere constant voltage power supply. With a pair of upgraded Panasonic capacitors. Nothing more and nothing less.

When TWO laptops went belly-up I lost both images and notes about modifying the WIFFIE to adjust voltage. I would LOVE to reload them now I have 60 or 70 pots, and a few hundred caps, and ALL, meaning 100% of the capacitors have been ESL to Panasonics.

I WANT to control voltage. Not some hookah sucking programmer armed with EPROMS and a programming device.

A feeble attempt to stop Nigerians from trying to sell their family, cheap at the expense of my poor in box.
  • Not a bad price - Someone that wants a singe stage unit
Sure hope the two offending capacitors have been replaced - once they have been replaced the unit is good to go for years
Very simple to get that model outputting a fixed voltage of anywhere from 12.9 >> 15.5
Currently have several of that exact model here
