WFCO modification Images?

My ignorance. I copied the images off the linked web page and then tried to save them to Open Office. Mistake.

How can I save images so I can retrieve them? Conversion to PDF comes to mind but PDF files have to be sent to me. Right?

Don't try to copy into 'open office'
just save the image file to your C drive in the folder of your choice
    like my pictures or documents
  • Sure sounds like the guts out of a 8955 WFCO. Original owner probably has the owners manual for the charge controller, with model number. Wouldn't hurt to email him or PM him and ask?
  • All I know it is the 55 amp model that the owner claimed never went into boost no matter what so he yanked the module and substituted another. No "pendants" I believe this is an earlier model WFCO. Good grief there are THAT MANY different non "pendant" WFCO's ?

Sorry - I have three or four 55 and 75amp WFCO converters with the remote control aka RCMS Pendant. Agreed the old Paramode does not have a remote except for the temp compensation but might have one soon....

Sorry I'm not aware of an Model #8255 WFCO converter

If 8955 I believe it has a "Pendant" yes your favorite thing .. a hanging thingy off the converter........ as in wired remote control thingy

I believe 8900 series WFCO units have the RJ-11 “RCMS” connection funny to see the PD 9100/9200 series has a similar if not exactly the same “TCMS” connection (just a different type of connector RJ11/12 Vs RJ45) – both use a LED/Push Button Switch with a few resisters to manually change the output voltage.
  • I believe it is an 8255. Out of a WFCO WF-8900 Series Power Center serial number would be on the charger unit itself? Module is 700 miles from here at the moment. Unmodified.

Seeking to manually trigger "BOOST" via a switch. Diagram and or images because of cataracts would love image clarity and magnification. Markers on selected resistors to tap into. Original images copied online got eaten when I tried time after time to capture them to disc.

Going to go astable with a 555 to trigger every 200 hours.

    Thank you
  • Right click on picture
    Click save file
    Or
    Download free program "Irfan view"
    Easy to use image manipulator
    With a screen capture option
Run programs turn on capture option
    Goto Webb page
    Hit hot keys
    Capture screen shot
You can then use it too edit/crop the pic
You can also save the whole web page onto your pc using "save as html"
From the file menu on the I upper left of your browser
Both Firefox and iE have this function

How about a WFCO model # in addition to the serial #'s
I have hundreds of circuit mods for WFCO units most all of them vastly different depending on model and serial numbers

Happy to send you what is actually needed - PDF or high res JPEG or what ever is desired
