Are you saying this? You believe the voltage increases to bulk 14.4 when the unit sees 13.2 or less? Come on.

I have tested it many times, always worked. Steady converter voltage of 13.3/13.6 then hit the battery with 160 amp draw forcing battery and converter voltage well below 13.2 volts. Stop load in 20 seconds and voltage steadily rises to 14.4 volts.
My words; The 13.2 in the manual refers to the converter voltage during initial charging not battery voltage just before you plug in.
