My WFCO 8945 unit came as an optional upgrade along with a pair of T-105's on my 2003 (fall 2002) Jamboree. It still works "up to specifications".
It test it my monitoring voltage with a good multi-meter and a separate clamp-meter to monitor amps. The unit still works fine after almost 12 years of use. I replaced T-105's at end of 2012 with a new pair of Trojan T-105's.
The problem seems to be the 8955 model manufactured in around the last 5 years. If mine goes out I might replace it with another current WFCO 45 amp (charging) model.
