Why did you replace the WFCO? I assume the charging vs capacity was not adequate.
So go out and have some fun with the PD. I think it is going to be a noticeable improvement. Not 10x better but still much improved.
Hopefully you can leave the RV plugged in to float the batteries.
BTW it is well known that PD amps sag a bit as it approaches 14.4 volts. The full amp rating is for 13.2 to 13.6 volts. To properly map the condition, voltage should be measured at the converter. Yes my WFCO also produced 10a over rating during forced boost mode but forced boost mode is a PITN. And maybe that is why it failed?
My Xantrex converter would also sag a bit as it approached the 14.2 boost mode voltage. The only one I know that has reports of holding amps at full rating right to peak voltage is the IOTA converter but I have not tested the IOTA personally. Have seen reports of PD and IOTA dead even at the magic 3 hour mark. WFCO always comes in last if you have an actual battery monitor.
