Just to make you feel better The Controlled Equalization, is a recipe. For a 100 amp hour battery 5% of the amp hours (5 amps) is pushed through the battery. Constant amperage. Even at 15.8 volts if the gravity is still not at spec. So your low amperage is going to take longer. Won't hurt anything -- it just eats time.
Many newer RV batteries have 1.285 electrolyte density. You might want to check on that before calling it quits.
