3 34 amp hour batteries or 1 100 amp hour Battery?

Newbie. For dry camping with a gen for recharge. The watts delivered would be the same but would they discharge at the same rate? If you dry camp for an extended period what do you use? Yes, wet acid deep discharge batteries.
