Its for emergency use only, for when you lose the screen from the bowl on your bong. Just pry it out, peel off the rubber washer, and fire up your Scooby Snacks. It's stainless steel, lasts a good long time. - Dave_H_MExplorer IIYep and you can buy replacements in two packs for when they get worn and leaky. :h
- mobeewanExplorerThese are the same rubber washer screens used with washing machine hot and cold water hoses to help keep grit from fouling up the solenoid valves.
- TrackrigExplorer IIOn the city water line it keeps minor junk from messing up the diaphragms in the 12V water pump. You should also have a filter on the pump inlet.
And the screens keep board little kids from stuffing rocks or who knows what into whatever holes they can find.
