- GjacExplorer IIII have one of these meters in the MH. But I think you can't beat the free HF mutimeters. They are off as Oldmen said but they can be adjusted inside by a small pot if you have a Fluke or another good meter that you trust. I have left one out in the rain overnight, ruined another while checking amperage, and melted another with gas while working on my generator fuel pump. I would have been sick if they were Fluke meters, but because the were free I saved the batteries and leads for replacement parts for my working meters. Once you know what the limitations are and can adjust for it they are great meters.
- 2oldmanExplorer III've bought a few of the cheapies. If you don't mind if they're off by a bit, they're fine. The Sears product looks like it has actual wires. Mine has thread.
Edited: sorry, not off by 10% - TrackrigExplorer II

You see it on eBay. You'll find a bunch of an item priced pretty reasonable then one or two will pop up 10 times the price. Guess they are relying on an idiot to purchase it. Lots of idiots on eBay.
Absolutely!!
Last year I was looking at Victorinox (Swiss Army) knives on EBay and Amazon. The dummies on EBay had bid a couple of knives up higher (without free shipping) than you could just plain buy them with shipping on Amazon.
Always check both.
Bill - GMandJMExplorerYeah, that's a "Sears Marketplace" item. And Sears isn't likely to get any commission at that seller's price.
- darsbenExplorer IIWhy would SEARS care?
Sears is not the seller. If the item sells through Sears they get a commission just like EBAY - MEXICOWANDERERExplorerI had to give up and start using 4-1/2 digit voltmeters. The 3 and the 3-1/2 digit models I purchased were frequently two-tenths of a volt in error, a .4 volt span that I can not live with. Your mileage may vary. Good luck-some were accurate (three out of eleven)
- KJINTFExplorerPurchased 25 of these
Good quality, low cost and accurate when compared to my several Flukes
Can't go wrong for the price
