For a space heater I use 12ga wire, 15/20 amp outlets (These have a "T" shaped neutral slot) I bend wire around screws (I do not poke in holes or punch down) and I give each of those outlets a circuit breaker all to itself.
By the way, It works, NOTE this is heavier hardware than you need (1500 watts is only 12 amps) and one or two of the breakers I am using are 15 (Ran out of 20's) but when wife plugged a heater into one of the standard punch-down type RV outlets,,, I smelled hot wire (I have since replaced outlet) and that simply has yet to happen with the Heavier wire and outlets I put in.
I seriously recommend 12 ga wire and 15/20 amp outlets. I even swapped one of the heaters to a 20 amp plug.
What, you ask, is the difference.
