•190 Watts of Unisolar panels (2 US-64's, 1 ES-62) wired in parallel. I'm planning to experiment with series wiring in the spring.
• Morningstar SunSaver 15 MPPT
• ProSine 2.0 sine-wave inverter/charger
• 300A/h of AGM battery (3 Odyssey PC2150's @ 100Ah each)
I use the load output from the solar controller as a diversion controller to power a 12V element in my hot water heater. As a result, I seldom need to run the water heater on propane.
I use everything in my camper as if I were on shore power and never think twice about having enough power available. The inverter runs the microwave, satellite TV, receiver, laptop chargers, etc. The only exception is air conditioner... if I am going to be running it for more than 30 minutes or so I'll start the generator (a Honda EU2000i).
In addition to the solar... I have a 180A alternator in the truck and 2ga wiring between truck & camper batt's. I run the fridge and water heater (120V element) from the inverter while driving.
