Everyone in our area was having to supplement with their genny. Temps in the low 40s at night and mid 50s for the high.
I haven't run into that yet. Most was about 3 days overcast. My system is designed to be able to go just under 5 days with normal electrical usage (which isn't a lot for me) and no charging. Eight days would be a problem. But seeing something like that in the forecast, I would just conserve. Meaning, cut out the computer use and evening movies. And I'd read more. I always have a few books along.
