- IAMICHABODExplorer IIThe Latest Model of the G1W from estore 009 store has another way to attach it. The suction cup was a little loose for my liking and fell off often.
This one has a mirror mount or if you have an earlier model like mine you can get it alone Like this it works great and is very stable.
Fast shipping, it was here in a week. - rk911Explorer

I too have the G1W from Estore 009 on Ebay and love it. ~$52.
Fits between my rear view mirror and the windshield on my car, wide view lens, great picture quality.
Another happy G1w user and also bought from Estore 009 on Ebay - wirenutzExplorerit works, shows a GPS map and records well, how many miles you traveled, you can also set it to notify up to 4 different people if you are in an accident, now to find the right phone holder for the windsheild

if it won't loop, it is worthless to me, regardless of ones "belief".

I have confirmed it will loop. It is programmable to loop at intervals you select. - BumpyroadExplorer

bumpy - NinerBikesExplorerOrdered the capacitor modeled C1w-C, so we'll see how it goes. They are a bit particular, and don't like San Disk brand cards, but I've read that PNY cards work fine in them.
Wow, that was fast arrival from china or Hong Kong. This model does loop, take your pick, 2 minute, 3 minute or 5 minutes. Takes some playing with to figure out how to program... a suggestion... the "record" button locks in the selection when you are going through various modes. Also sometimes pushing both up arrow and down arrow sometimes locks in selections also.
If it proves I am not at fault, as far as the insurance company goes, it will have paid for itself, no more "he said, she said." It should also lower my insurance premiums as concrete evidence. - smlrangerExplorer

I got one off EBay 6 months ago. It was one recommended by someone else on this forum. Just started out on a 3 month trip so have tried to use it. Cannot get it to record for more than a couple of minutes. I press the record button and it stops recording pretty quickly.
Instructions are written in Chinglish and are very poor. Would send it back for a refund but too much time has elapsed. '
DW thinks I should get a GoPro but I am now thinking this is merely a toy and not worth the aggravation.
a decent dash cam $52. a go pro $300. worth it only if you want a helmet mount for sky diving. several alternates much cheaper. will go pro overwrite and record in a loop? if not, worthless

This dash cam was $84 off EBay. With the 32 gig sd card, the GoPro will record for many hours (More than I will ever drive in a day) and I believe you can set it to loop. It also has WiFi capability so you can view videos on other WiFi devices like smart phones or PC's.
I am done buying cheap, no-name junk off Ebay. At least GoPro has thousands of users who give it excellent reviews. The GoPro Hero 3 is $199 and another $15 for the car charger.
