The connection has blackened wires that may have darkened by heat. Whatever happened, bad crimp, high current or contamination, the connections need to be repaired.
Yeah, I didn't know what I was doing with that multimeter and I'm sure I pulled the ground up too early as I blew a few fuses in the meter itself. No more of that for me...oy
