plugging 'trojan battery care manual' into google reveals
Trojan says 1.277 is 100% SOC and 12.73v VOC

This sheet says:
Bulk 14.82
Absorption 14.1v to 14.7v
Finish charge 16.2v
EQ charge 16.2v
Float (if desired) 13.5v
Recommended initial current 10 to 13% of capacity at 20hr rate

So apparently they would like 10 to 13% applied until 14.82 is reached, then Absorb charge anywhere from 14.1 to 14.7 for X amount of time, then Finish at 16.2 for X amount of time and EQ when required at 16.2v.
If you want to float them, do it at 13.5v.
Wonder how much this improves cycle life in laboratory environment compared to earlier recommendations.
How many people would 'finish charge' every 100% recharge cycle at 16.2v.
