- fj12ryderExplorer IIIIt depends on where you're driving, pavement temperature, and ambient air temperature.
I reset mine to 130°F. I'll reset it when I decide what is a normal tire temp for conditions. So far mine run around 115°F. I imagine that will change as the summer heats up. - BB_TXNomadI recently installed a TST system on my 5er. First long trip showed tires ran just a few degrees above air temp on the shady side and 10 to 20 degrees above air temp on the sunny side.
That is about the same as I saw using an infrared temp gun before I put the TST system on. - coolbreeze01ExplorerI touch my tires and axle hubs with my bare hands comfortably. I'll have to use the temp gauge on them one of these trips.
- SAR_TrackerExplorertemperature during the driving time would affect the tire temp.
load would affect the tire temp.
inflation pressure affect the tire temp.
or at least that's what I'd think.....
