What kind of glue?

I need to glue a part of my rubber roof back down to the plywood that came up near the rear seam before I redo the dicor lap sealer again. What kind of glue should I use that wont damage the rubber roof?

  • Any contac glue that has NO petroleum products. As a rule, once the rubber is loose, it will NOT adhere like the original, but small areas will. Since we have Dicor rubber roof cement at the shop, that is what we use. Doug
  • Well what ever the OEM used, wasn't any good,....so I for sure wouldn't use that. I remember my fleetwood letting loose in several places. But if I had to guess, I'd use a latex marine carpet adheasive. But I'm sure it will have its own specific special type glue that probably ain't as good.
