plus a good multi-meter, some wiring tools and supplies, and of course a big hammer.
Doug - MuddydogsExplorerIn the trailer I have one of them tool kits in a plastic box that contains standard and metric sockets and box end wrenches as well as pliers, screw drivers and allen wrenches. I have a little bigger sockets and wrenches in my pickup as well as more pliers and screw drivers.
As for parts I carry some fuses, duct tape and bailing wire. I figure if I really need a part I am not that far from someplace that sells stuff so why weight down the trailer with stuff I will probably never use. I'm sure I will collect a few more things as I need to make repairs but until then I run light. I do carry some electrical wire in my ATV as well as some other electrical stuff so between the trailer, truck and ATV I should be able to make something work. - Dennis_M_MExplorerEverything out of my Craftsman chest and a good portion of stuff from the roller cabinet. Small box for socket sets (1/2", 3/8", 1/4" drives, full set of each, US & Metric), large box for everything else. Wrenches (open end & box) go in tool rolls for accessibility. Large box weighs 50 or 60 lbs.
- robsouthExplorer III have a pair of pliers. Had a screwdriver but I lost it somewhere.
- Simple 14" tool bag with everything that will fit.
So just the basics. - K_CharlesExplorerIf you know what's going to go bad, fix it before you leave home. I have enough to change a tire, some fuses, a pair of players and a multi bit screw driver.
- Son_of_NorwayExplorerExtensive for any type of repair, including a mounted spare, jacks and tools for roadside tire changes.
