- RVcircusExplorer III have a basic set of mechanic (sockets, wrenches, brake spoon, etc) along with home repair (electrical, plumbing, etc.), plus . There are 2 decent size toolboxes plus I keep a bag of cordless power tools and a jack. We're making our first trip in a newly rehabbed trailer, so I want to be prepared.

Harbor Freight doesn't either.
ddndoug - you really need to add a crescent wrench (a.k.a. crescent hammer) to that set. - mosseaterExplorer III have a fairly complete tool box with about 30 lbs of tools, a set of jumper cables, several bearing kits and tools to change them, high power spot light, larger wrenches to adjust WD hitch and cam arms, Fluke VOM, various sprays and cleaners, air compressor, dedicated jack and blocking to lift trailer axle, orange rain suit, come-along, various tiedowns a ratchet straps, tow strap, prolly more than I can remember at this point. I carry most of this on a regular basis, so it just goes along automatically. Weighs in around 170 lbs.
- obgrahamExplorerPart of the adjustment to life in a smaller rig, like a B, is shrinking the tool box. Just no room for it any more. So I carry one of those tools-in-a-briefcase kits like shown above only smaller. Got at Target for 20 bucks, and it has most everything I need.
- ernie1ExplorerI don't carry quite as many tools as MR WIZARD but I do have a couple that are very handy and are life savers. One is what the old timers call a "monkey wrench" which can open up wide to accept very large nuts and bolt heads. The other tool is a 1/2" Harbor Freight ratchet that has a handle that extends enough to allow you to use it as a breaker bar but is a regular sized 1/2" ratchet when the handle is collapsed. I think it only cost something like $14(can't remember).
- NinerBikesExplorerDepends, are you a full timer or a weak end warrior type of camper? RV campsite with pedestal or Boondocker /Dry camper. How far do your trips take you from home? How big or small a rig are you in?
