yeah i was thinking, Switches instead of remote
mount the lights in different locations
while the 'out come' is the same, i wonder if it is the control unit that fails, not the little remote !
i have little remote like that for my review display
its 5yrs old and still works

Now WHERE did I see that gag remote ad? Half a dozen buttons and one is labelled EMERGENCY. Press it and the twin strips on the side give forth a nice jolt. Must have been a faux ad. One stopped pacemaker and the ambulance chasers would be beating each other over the head trying yo be first at the door. It gave me a good laugh.
