What makes a light fixture 12v DC vs. 120v AC?

Looking at the paucity of choices in 12v fixtures for my new van build, I am wondering if I can repurpose 120v fixtures. What is the difference? Just the bulb? I cannot see why the electrons wo...

i moved the pictures to the root folder with a simple folder name
and it worked,

i'll try to remember the https trick, thanks for the tip
