Hate to burst your bubble but if your previous trailer had a textured roof surface then it wasn't rubber but rather TPO which is vinyl. If your current roof surface is smooth "like pool liner" then it no doubt is EPDM which is rubber. More RVs built these days have an EPDM roof covering ... personally, having owned both, I prefer TPO as it's more resistant to tearing, has a textured surface, and doesn't chalk or bubble as does EPDM.
