I otter be careful so I don't drops it. I do not carry it on me. It's locked up. Someone needs me? Lettum drive over and speak in person. I'm the last person in the world you'll find with one hand holding a gizmo and the fingers on the other hand making seeming obscene gestures on the screen. Some people are addicted to this stuff. Apps. "Burro Rind", "Poison Ivy Root", "Tailpipe Soot", the list of insanity is endless and obviously valueless. Remember my story about a friend that got addicted to his 386 computer?
"It makes phone calls!"
"All's you gotta do is (type type type type type type type)"
"Then do this, no wait, do this first, then that"
"Then enter the telephone number"
"And it dials your number!"
"Pete?"
"Yes?"
"I could have picked up a regular phone, dialed it, had my conversation, hung and and gone to lunch in the time it took you to screw around"
It's like some wimmen. They call a friend, fifty feet distant, then proceed to list chronologically, verbatim, every single thing that happened to them that day.
To me, a gizmo is a tool
