what temp should hub be with infared thermometer

For you guys who use infared (i am sure i am spelling it wrong) thermometers to check your hubs what temps are you looking for and is it normal to get different temps on different hubs on the same tra...

I've seen my hubs reach 135*F and only 92*F. Summer time/winter time/sunny side-shaded side.

I'm more concerned that I don't find one reading much higher than the other axle on same side of trailer.

Not unusual for differences in temps side to side.....depends on which side is 'sunny'

IF 10% difference in hubs on same side......time to be checking the bearings/brakes especially on the higher of the two.

Same for tire thread, drums, rotors etc.
