I've seen my hubs reach 135*F and only 92*F. Summer time/winter time/sunny side-shaded side.
I'm more concerned that I don't find one reading much higher than the other axle on same side of trailer.
Not unusual for differences in temps side to side.....depends on which side is 'sunny'
IF 10% difference in hubs on same side......time to be checking the bearings/brakes especially on the higher of the two.
Same for tire thread, drums, rotors etc.
