I agree it's often colder out where you are in the open prairie. Even worse there is nothing to block that nasty wind. A wind chill temperature of -49C is crazy cold. Sure hope you and your RV can handle it. Some of "your" Canadian cold air but not much of that nasty wind has made it over the divide. This morning is almost as cold as it gets here at -3F. A large wood powered furnace keeps the house here nice and warm. The RV gets put away in October in a propane heater barn which never gets below 40F.
