What to use to clean oily film on outside of 5th wheel

The best degreasing detergents are those having a Butyl base. Formula 409, Awesome, and Simple Green are examples of those. Some of the Citrus based cleaners will cut grease too.

If I had to do this job and didn't want to go to great lengths choosing a soap, I'd use Krud Kutter followed by Jasco liquid prepaint cleaner. The KK will clean the oil off and the Jasco will remove any oxidation, resulting in a shiny surface.
