Well I found some good news when researching multistage converters, there is an add on module I can buy for my converter(Intel Power 9100) for $30 bucks that will make it 3 stage(14.4, 13.6, 13.2). Best part is, I can install it myself(all you have to do is plug it into the converter, lol)
I agree that the panels should easily cover it for the two weeks it'll be in storage, and in fact that was my plan. I don't have a switch between them and that's actually what I was thinking with the blanket, lol. However I'll need batteries that are working properly. I have refilled the electrolytes but I'm still concerned that at least one is shot. I honestly thought they were sealed and "maintenance free" but clearly that's not true. I'm going to take both of them up to an auto store as mentioned before and see what they say. If one is good and the other is bad, do you think I can just purchase one, if it's the identical battery(they are only 3 months old)? Then my mistake wouldn't be too painful.
What do you think is comfortable every, two weeks? or once a month? I will definitely clean them up, I'll check out those sprays. I imagine they'll have them at the auto parts store right? By oxidizing you mean that white powder that was around the one terminal? I think I can scrounge up a penny or two for the terminals. Doesn't it seem weird it was only on the one battery(the one that was a lot lower)?
Thanks again,
