Yea, you probably right about the one battery although it didn't seem to be completely dry but couldn't have been far off. I think that's a good way to handle the maintenance. I'm sure setups vary so much that one time period won't work for everyone.
So what's your opinion on just replacing the one battery if the other one tests well?
