- SidecarFlipExplorer IIIProbably slipped on a greasy taco and is recuperating in a Mexican hospital, will be lucky to survive that ordeal....
Read his comments but never reply. I'm over 70 myself and I find most of his stuff to be cryptic at best.
Craftsman tools today are junk. I call them 'Cracksman' tools. Just broken yet another socket yesterday. Even HF is better now plus they have a money back / replacement guarantee. Good luck returning a Cracksman tool to Lowes, now that Sears and Grabbuck is defunct. - RJsfishinExplorerI couldn't stand the guy, there was no discussing anything w/ him, it was his way or the hiway. He had no respect for other peoples long time experiences.
But the Mods....among others worshiped him,......each to their own. - MNGeeks61ExplorerAgreed to all the above posts - he is an interesting guy, has plenty to contribute, definitely a challenge to read. I still enjoy his posts because I like to learn. Sometimes I don't learn anything because I don't know enough about the subject, but it's still interesting.
Hope he's doing ok. - 2112Explorer III respectfully refer to Mex as The Riddler. I always look forward to reading his posts. I hope all is well with him
- All_I_could_affExplorerI also hope all is well with Mex. I learned a lot about electricity from him, and often found myself doing further research after reading some of his posts.
- T18skyguyExplorerI usually found his post's informative and entertaining. He's a bright guy, especially on electrical matters, but he has a painful disability he's dealing with. I get the feeling this forum has been good socializing for him. I don't think he has anyone around him down there that can talk tools and such like we do. I do hope he's well and comes back. Reading between the lines, I think he needs caregiving help, and it's much more affordable down there than up here.
- GordonThreeExplorerI've always enjoyed his posts. Sometimes it was a challenge to decode the message, and that made it more interesting.
I hope he's doing well and soaking in the warm sun for this new year. - GjacExplorer IIIYou have to be over 70 to understand his posts. He is like the Dennis Miller of the tech forum. I too hope he is OK.
- MFLNomad IIJust before New Years day, there was some back/forth banter on a thread he started concerning Sears Craftsman. It seemed some were upset with him, concerning his posts and attitude.
I really never followed his posts, as often the subjects were of no interest to me. I always thought he was well liked, by many forum members, but in the thread I mentioned, it appeared maybe not everyone.
I'm guessing he may be taking a time out, due to some cutting comments made by others. I too, hope he is not having health issues, and would be nice if he'd let a member friend know, such as answering Don's email.
Jerry - LwiddisExplorer IIAll seemed random but only a few were unintelligible IMO.
