Where do you purchase a Slide Roller?

a couple of weeks ago, I was on my way home and had to stop. There was an Trailer lot and I was looking. It's what we do...

Anyway, what I found under most, if not all the slides was a very low profile Roller. Maybe 1/2" or 3/4" diameter mounted to the vertical edge of the RV wall. Since my slide is sagging in the middle, this would solve my problem if I could mount the roller in the center.

Does anybody know where I can get the roller (it's on Keystone's current crop of RV's)?

Thanks!

  • In Indiana we go the RV bone yard/surplus yard. We have 3 of them around White Pigeon MI about 10 Miles north of Shipshewana IN. More near Elkhart where many RV's are made. You might look for an RV bone yard in your area.
  • I haven't seen a slide roller since calculators came to the fore in the 1970s.
  • How are you going to mount that new roller. Almost ALL rollers are installed BEFORE the slide room is installed in the trailer. You cannot just try to slip it in. Also, If your room is sagging, the odds are the floor has rot and IF you install such a roller, the floor will not be able to support the force the roller will put on the bottom of the floor. Doug
