Where is My Dometic Circuit Board? Northstar 850SC

Hi,

I finally got around to trying the frig and no-go. I know I have 110v power and think I have 12v (am reading 12v on some connections to what looks like the chimney. But I would like to check the fuse(s?) on the circuit board. Where is the thing? It is neither on the lower back or the upper back where I am able to access. Thoughts?

Thanks,
Jay

Hmmm. Back to the drawing board then. Everything I've been reading about why a Dometic stops working is because of the circuit board. Any suggestions on where to start?

    Thanks,

It is half-height, controls in a row across the front top, door jamb say RM-2353.

The only place I haven't looked yet is behind that control panel, and from the back it looks as if that is where the power cord heads.

    Thanks,

  • Those two wires you tested on chimney......they go to the stack temp sensor.

Follow those wires back from chimney to the control module. Where they plug in is the circuit board/power module.
Should be under a cover. Same place that the end of 110V AC power cord goes.

Should have a 5A glass fuse for 110V AC circuit (electric heater) and a 3A auto blade type fuse for the 12V DC control circuit on the board.

  • The circuit board on many are located inside the outside access in the lower left corner. May have a black cover over it.
What is model of the refer?
