Where to place outside temp remote?
I now have a wireless thermometer for in/out temps. I placed the remote sending unit under the passenger side near the gasoline filler. I did not want it to get wet too close to the back of the wheels...

I put it inside the refer cover just above the lowest vent - it is out of the weather and secure. When the refer is operating, it pulls air from outside over the sensor, rendering a fairly accurate outdoor temp.
The only time it is off is when we are setting, with the sun glaring directly on that side of the RV. It's worked fine for many years for us.
