Which is better - (3) 12v batteries vs (2) 6v batteries

I am looking to replace an old coach battery with AGM batteries for boondocking usage. I have space for (3) 12 volt group 24s without having to do any modifications, but could also just use 2 of the b...

Great cause I have four!! Been wondering how these will perform with a heavy load since I got them but I have no big inverter to try it out.
