Which is better - (3) 12v batteries vs (2) 6v batteries

I am looking to replace an old coach battery with AGM batteries for boondocking usage. I have space for (3) 12 volt group 24s without having to do any modifications, but could also just use 2 of the b...

Since the OP disappeared right away, no need to start a new thread IMO.

I think Mex is saying you can do whatever makes you feel good since it is all a compromise (never perfect) anyway.
