Which is better - (3) 12v batteries vs (2) 6v batteries

I am looking to replace an old coach battery with AGM batteries for boondocking usage. I have space for (3) 12 volt group 24s without having to do any modifications, but could also just use 2 of the b...

Thanks for the kind remarks. I have received so much help over the years on this Forum from everybody for the various equipment problems I have had, that anything I can contribute from learning the hard way myself is a drop in the bucket in return.
