Which surge guard and why?
Looking at the hardwire models of the TRC Surge Guard, and the Progressive Industries surge guards.. Looking for info on both from those that have one,and why you chose the one you chose

THought the company has recently changed hands and this MAY affect future customer service and warranty Progressive Industries units came with a limited lifetime warranty.. TRC one year. May be important to some
Now this leaves us with "Which model" I will assume a 50 amp RV. if yours is 30 replace the 50 with 30
HW-50c This is my recommendation as it is hard wired. (Get the remote too) thus you never forget it.. I can tell you that sometimes what you forget you regret.
Set the time in option to LONG
PT-50c.. Alternate choice. but being a portable you need to remember it every time and if it cuts you off you need to go outside to read the display. The Time in option is already LONG.
What is the time in option.
IF it shuts you off. how long does it wait once proper pwoer is restorded to it? That's the "Time in"
