You have a combination Compressor and Fan RUN compressor AND a Start Assist as well. In your first pic, I can see the metal ring clip that holds the Start Cap together. The White and Red wires from it should lead to the Common and Compressor (or HERM) terminals on the combination capacitor. It does not matter which of those (Red or White) goes to which (COM or HERM).
If everything's working I would do nothing about a different Start Kit.
If it's more than a year old, do this cleaning routine while you're in there. Then button it up and call it GOOD.
