Chris is an expert RV tech and is confirming what I told you. Already a Hard Start kit is in place. If you already have an SPP6, keep it. I keep one on board along with spare FAN and HERM Run caps. I've had so many cap failures at home that I keep spares home as well. Which gets me to what I just noticed in your photos...
...that combo cap is one of the relatively few in a plastic case. I mentioned that the RUN caps would be metal but yours is an exception. Still does the same thing. At home, I currently run two separate caps for Fan and Compressor. All it takes to do that is a jumper wire between one of the terminals of each cap. How they mount doesn't matter either. Just in place, properly connected, and protected from unwanted contact, weather, and shocking somebody.
