Thank you for the information. Here in SA every time the readings for water is off they add chlorine to the water. I have a water softener and have had to replace the resin already. Seems chlorine dissolves the resin (had particles in the screens on the taps). Had to flush out the lines and the water heater. Had to also add a filter coming into the house with a chlorine filter to stop the resin from dissolving.
