Thanks for the replies Guys, I thought I had post a thank you yesterday but I must have pushed the wrong key. I can understand the money aspect of not using them and more logical is that the AFCI's haven't reached the level of reliability or selectivity to be used in RVs.
Sometimes you read about something that sounds cool and when you hear about it in real life it ain't so good. Thanks for the real life stuff and I'll go back to pondering how I'm going to get that d**m lock ring on the 3-#10 romex I just fished into my totally in the wall service panel. Fishing it to the RV Outlet box will be easy, getting that locking ring on when the romex comes in to the top/back of the panel is the hard part.
