There are some past threads about alternator charging. ISTR Mark or one of those guys wired up for that to a truck camper with success. There is something about wiring to the alternator itself to by-pass the part where it drops its voltage at the starting battery, but I can't see any place on my alternator where to attach anything.
Not a clue. I don't have to deal with that.
