Why won't my inverter put out?
I feel there should be a 'That's what she said' joke in here somewhere... I booked a camping site that I thought had hookups, but when I got here: no hookups. I needed more juice than my house ...

So, for the future, could I realistically run the freezer in the OP on 150watts solar? I'd thought that was unrealistic, wuth limited space (and $$) for batteries. But y'all seem to imply otherwise :).
It stays cold for 48 hours without elec, on cool days, so should be able to wait out storms. I mostly camp in deserts and beaches, so lots of sun.
In the past, I just don't bring frozen stuff if I won't have elec! But this trip I thought I would have power. For health readons a freezer is useful to me.
