I clearly remember the BS that went along with the introduction of the gelled electrolyte battery. Even respectable authority figures tripped all over themselves gloating about the superior performance and life span of the gelled battery. Customer reaction? Shirley You Jest. RV gel battery owners hooted and waxed eloquent to the point of absurdity about the no bad days with gelled electrolyte.
Like with the introduction of a new medicine, I shall await with both optimism and skepticism until the database for Lithium RV batteries becomes large enough to be relevant to render meaningful conclusions.
