Wildwood T21RBS water pump location

Hi,

I have a 2014 Wildwood T21RBS travel trailer. I need to install a water pump antifreeze hose to winterize the system. I hear the pump sound coming from under the refrigerator but see no access. Can this be right? I will cut an opening if needed, but somehow I find it hard to understand why it is hidden. Is the pump really hidden like this?

Steve
  • I found my water pump. The panel that it is behind was installed so tight that it took two screwdrivers to pry it out. Will trim the panel before it goes back in. Vacuumed out the building debris this morning.

I wish I could say we had a walk through, but we never did. I use a Reese dual-cam system and the dealer had a real difficult time installing it for me. I almost drove away from the lot with my trailer in tow. As it was, it took the wife and I another two hours to finish setting up the Reese in our driveway later that week. But we are getting good to go now.

And I did join the Forest River owners group. Getting answers and suggestions from both groups is very helpful.
  • If you have the owners manual go to section 5 pg 30 tells you how tp winterized your trailer
If you don't have a owners manual go to forest river web site and down load one free of Charge I just did. .
  • 2014 I would call the dealer and ask or go to
Irv2.com select forums then select owners forums and select your brand and ask them?
good luck my forest river tt had the water pump behind a panel. I had to remove four square scews
I saw on the FR website there is a owners group.
I just have to ask , did the dealer do a complete walk thru and show you how every thing works and give you day and night telephone numbers ?
  • I took the two drawers out from under the kitchen sink. All I found was construction debris - metal shavings, saw dust, wood chips, twist ties. The blue water line runs forward under the refrigerator.

What it looks like I may have to do is cut an opening on the forward wall under the refrigerator and near the outside wall. The front of the refrigerator has the heater and electric service panel so no go there.

I'll slide my room out again and take more light with me this week and relook again. Maybe Santa hid the opening from me.
  • If it is behind a panel there will be at least four screws to take out to gain access. mine is under the kitchen drawers and it is a bear to get to.
  • Look in a side cabinet for a access panel a drawer sometimes is the access .they may have it to where you pull the fridge to access itw
