I don't know how many AH you are going to be using between charges but we run a Fantastic vent fan all night plus the usual fridge ,water pump and lights. I recharge a single 115 AH battery with a Honda EU 1000 in the morning and the peak 12V charge current rarely exceeds 12A and tapers down to 3A in 3-4 hours. I think you will be fine with a 1000 watt generator. I own two 2000W and two 1000W generators and never take anything but the 1000 W generators for dry camping. If I was needing to run the A/C then I would take the bigger generators but not for just charging the battery.
