At least somebody was paying attention to all the info provided a while back about matching gens to chargers and the importance of PF correction!
ISTR threads saying you can take longer to recharge an AGM at lower than max amps as long as you meet the voltage specs which will take longer to get to. It is just a longer run of gen time.
Plus as mentioned above, you will only be recharging to about 90% SOC on gen anyway (doing say 50-90s) so the real issue is getting them to 100% ASAP once that series of 50-90s is over with.
Getting AGMs to 100% is a whole other story, being about how many amps they accept at a certain voltage with no load on the battery. You need an ammeter and voltmeter and a way to isolate the AGM from all loads.
