i think there is a little confusion
PT or one of the other magnum ownwers can correct me
but i think IF you set the shore power at 15a or any given amount
the magnum monitors the loads on the pass thru
if you turn something on, it will reduce the amount of charging power used
to keep total power within the the limit you set
but it is NOT an automatic 5amps of 120v use, that would only be a 600w aka 45amp charger
and that is NOT how it works
